..objection!!!

so, nun endlich mal ein post, der schon lange fällig war. DER grund warum ich unbedingt einen ds haben wollte: phoenix wright - ace attorney.

worum es geht? kurz gesagt, mordfälle aufklären. und das indem man zunächst ein paar hinweise findet indem man am tatort ein wenig rumsucht und personen befragt. man spielt als phoenix wright, ein rechtsanwalt frischling. also: mordfall, aber der beschuldigte ist unser klient - und der ist natürlich unschuldig! klar, was auch sonst. vor gericht werden also alle zeugen ins kreuzverhör genommen und die verzetteln sich gerne mal in widersprüchen, die wir als super kombinierer natürlich sofort aufspüren.. naja, nicht immer sofort ;) ja, es ist sehr dialoglastiges - aber wenn ihr solch einen stil mögt, dann werdet ihr es lieben (bzw. tut es wahrscheinlich schon).

das tollste, neben dem knobeln, sind eigentlich die charaktere. phoenix wright, miles edgeworth, dick gumshoe, maya und mia fey, lotta hart, wendy oldbag, larry butz und viele weitere, die einem (wenn man denn einmal blut geleckt hat) auch in den weiteren teilen der serie immer mal wieder begegnen. 

ich habe jetzt gerade wieder den ersten teil ausgepackt. und ich würde euch ja gerne noch viel mehr erzählen, aber fälle spoilern ist ja wohl doof.

so now finally a post that was long overdue. THE reason why i really really wanted to have a ds: phoenix wright - ace attorney.
what's it about? in short, solving murder cases. searching for clues on the crime scene and talking to some people. you play as phoenix wright, a lawyer rookie. so it's a murder case, and the accused is your client - who is innocent - of course, what else?! so in court witnesses will be cast to the stand to testify. your job: find contradictions in what they. and sure you as a smart lawyer will find these in no time, with all the clues you gathered before ;) well it's a game with looots of dialog and much to read, but if you are into that stuff, you'll love it (or you do probably know the games already).
but the best thing of the game are the characters. phoenix wright, miles edgeworth, thick, and gumshoe maya mia fey, lotta hard wendy oldbag, larry butz and many more that one (once you tasted blood) will meet again in the other parts of the series.
  i just started playing the first part again. and i love it so much and i could tell you many great details, but i dun wanna spoil. so just try it if you haven't yet and share the love =D

..lollipop chainsaw

ich habe mich ziemlich drauf gefreut und nu ist es endlich da: lollipop chainsaw!
worum geht's? man spielt juliet. highschool girlie, cheerleader und nebenbei (wie der rest ihrer familie) zombie hunter. die schule wird von zombies überrannt, also tritt juliet in action mit herzchen-kettensäge und ponpons! zu allem überfluss wird nick, juliets boyfriend von einem zombie gebissen. würde bedeuten, er wird auch zum zombie. drum muss sein kopf leider vom körper getrennt werden. aber das ist halb so wild, mit etwas magie lebt er trotzdem weiter und kann zeitweise sogar zombiekörper nutzen und juliet bei ihrem weg durch die highschool helfen. damit er auch immer dabei ist - und coole sprüche ablassen kann - hängt nicks kopf an juliets gürtel während sie sich durch in regenbögen auflösende zombies prügelt und dabei kommentare wie "stupid", "gross" oder "undead doushebags".
klingt abgedreht? verrückt? überzogen? auf jeden fall, aber auch unheimlich viel fun! ;)

i was so looking forward to it and now it finally arrived: lollipop chainsaw!
what's it about? you play juliet. high school girlie, cheerleader, and (like the rest of her family) zombie hunter. the school is overrun by zombies, so juliet gets down to work with her hearty chainsaw and ponpons! to top it all nick, juliet's boyfriend, gets bitten by a zombie. that would mean, he is also turning into a zombie. so what to do? right!: separate the head from the body. that's not so bad, cuz with a little magic he still lives on and can sometimes even use a zombie's body to help juliet on her way through the high school. to have him always on her side nick's head hangs on juliet's belt while she thrashes through zombies, that dissolve into rainbows, and lets out cool comments as "stupid", "gross" or "undead doushebags".
sounds nuts? crazy? overdrawn? sure, but also incredibly much fun! ;)

..yippie - diablo III

natürlich halte ich meine diablo 3 version noch immer nicht in den händen. ich hatte bei amazon uk vorbestellt (33 Pfund fand ich doch ganz super!) und da wurde bereits angekündigt, dass der artikel wohl erst freitag geliefert werden würde. ich bin das ganze wochenende sowieso meine family besuchen und mit den ganzen login-problem zu anfang ist's vielleicht eh nicht so schlimm noch ein wenig zu warten. und heute war ja auch noch sooo tolles wetter, dass ne runde zum rhein und ben&jerry's eis auf dem rückweg auch einfach mal toller waren als den ganzen tag vorm pc zu hängen.

allerdings habe ich heute morgen um 7h! eine mail bekommen, dass dhl ein weiteres mal nicht in der lage war mein paket in die packstation zu liefern, sondern sie in die filiale umgeleitet hat. nu hätt ich ja doch gerne heute abend gespielt - außerdem habe ich nie zeit sachen von der post zu holen, weil ich ja irgendwie erst nach schließung von der arbeit komme. naja, habe ja morgen frei und muss dann halt etwas später auf die autobahn. darf oma nur nicht zu lange mit kaffee und kuchen auf mich warten lassen ;) und spielen werde ich heute abend nun doch schon - der client wird runtergeladen und diablo ist per starter-key (thx iggy) registriert. sonntag wird dann auf meinen richtigen key umgestellt. ui ich freu mich! und ich hab gesehen das battletag aus der beta geht auch noch! super. spielt ihr schon?

guess what.. i still don't have my copy of diablo III. i pre-ordered via amazon uk cuz 33 pounds was just such a great deal. it already said that the package would probably arrive on friday. and seeing i'm gone to visit my family over the weekend and with all the trouble with the login-servers at the beginning it's actually not that bad waiting a bit anyways. on top todays weather was so awesome that a walk to the rhine and ben&jerry's on the way home were a bit more awesome than being in front of the pc the whole day without really seeing the sun.

buuuut this morning at 7am i got mail from dhl -they were once again not able to store my package at the packaging station (as i wished) but now i have to get it from the postal office. problem is that i never have time to get it from there cuz it's already closed when i get home from work - why not bring it to the next packaging station? ah well, i'll have the day off tomorrow, so i'll head off for my grandparents a bit later then i wanted. but hey, what don't we give up for gaming? ;) anyways, now i'd like to play obviously this evening cuz i could have had it in my hands already. So thanks to my friend iggy i can even do that with a starter key in a few. yippie! so i'll start with that and sunday i'll register my real key. so exited! and i saw my battletag from beta is still valid. so nice. are you already playing?

..the mass effect 3 disaster

tjaaa, am 8.3. war es ja endlich so weit - mass effect 3 ist endlich da! schön vorbestellt war es auch pünktlich in der packstation meines vertrauens.. gespielt habe ich es bislang trotzdem noch nicht. ich habe nämlich nicht nachgedacht, bzw. nicht damit gerechnet, dass ein sprachwechsel so ein problem darstellen würde und es einfach mal auf deutsch vorbestellt und da der ach so nette support mir dann mitgeteilt hat, dass es leider keinerlei möglichkeit des sprachwechsels via language pack oder ähnlichem gibt, warte ich nun, dass freunde aus den niederlanden mich mit dem spiel auf englisch versorgen. aber was soll denn das auch? ich muss auf deutsch spielen, wenn ich in deutschland lebe? language packs sollten ja nun nicht so schwierig sein für leute, die gerne die original fassung spielen wollen - zumal bei der pc version... sorry, kann ich nicht verstehen. nun heißt es also weiter warten und hoffen, nicht gespoilert zu werden..

so well, finally the 8th march was there and mass effect 3 got released! and cuz i pre-ordered it, i got my copy  right on time.. but i still haven't played so far. thinking that it could not be possible with a game like this that you're bound to one language, i accidently bought the german version. after contacting the oh-so-nice support team, who assured me that there was no language pack or anything i could do to keep my copy but play in english, i will send back my copy and wait for one that friends from the netherlands will provide me with. but seriously what's the problem of providing people in germany with an english version. i have to play it in german when i live here? it shouldn't be to hard having language packs for people who like playing the original version.. especially when having the pc version ... sorry, i really cannot understand it. so now i wait and hope not to get spoilered..

..getting ready for diablo 3

natürlich freue ich mich dieses jahr nicht nur auf einen weiteren teil von mass effect sondern auch unter anderem auch auf diablo 3! leider steht ja noch immer kein erscheinungstermin fest, aber eins ist sicher: sobald es raus ist, werde ich es in meinen händen halten, denn die vorbestellung ist seit dem 8ten august 2011 raus.

it's not only mass effect 3 that i'm looking forward to this year. my list definitely includes diablo 3! too bad there's still no release date, but one thing is for certain: once it's out, i'll be holding it in my hands and start playing right away! my order went out on 8th august 2011 already.. soooo..

 

was tun bis es endlich da ist? wir vergnügen uns erst einmal mit diablo 2! vier abende, vier akte und am ende dieser der sieg über diablo..  der letzte akt: lord of destruction steht noch aus, aber auch da werden wir uns durchsterben ;) da hat man besser ordentlich heil- und - wie in meinem fall (yay lightning damage!) - manatränke am start.. die gibt's für alle nerdi-girls auch als ohrringe!
na vielleicht brauche ich ja gar nicht soooo viele. wenn ich total langeweile habe, grinde ich einfach mal ein paar stündchen - vor märz wird das eh nichts mit dem weiterzocken, da kommt schließlich der karneval und dann fahre ich auch mal in die heimat. allerdings ist dann im märz mass effect da.. ohjemine, da muss ich mir was überlegen. obwohl.. wahrscheinlich bin ich mit mass effect eh durch noch bevor uns blizzard ein release-datum nennt ;)

so what to do til it's being released? having some fun and refreshing our knowledge by playing diablo 2! four venings, four acts and in the end of these the defeat of diablo.. but still one act to go: lord of destruction! though i'm sure that we will victoriously die through that part as well ;) in that case one better carries along some healing and - as in my case (yay lightnig damage!) - mana potions.. for all nerdi-girls these are available as earrings as well!
well, who knows maybe i won't need thaaaat many pots.. if i'm really really bored, i will just go grinding for some hours - we won't be playing any further before march anyways, seeing there's carnival on its way and i'll be going to see my family on the weekend. though actually... in march mass effect will be out.. hmm.. i reeeaaaaally have to think of something there. but probably i'll be done with mass effect even before blizzard will tell us a release date ;)
